It's startling how many computer users are unaware of the threats posed to them because of accessibility created by the Internet. Millions of people are affected every day--by problems that could have been avoided with a few simple steps—costing them money, time, and the loss of important files.

OU IT wants to secure the OU community by making them aware of these threats and providing them with solutions. That’s why we’re asking for your help in protecting your identity, your data, and your safety. What can you do? Access, adapt, and prevent. We've compiled information on the most common and most dangerous threats someone can face by using the Internet—all you have to do is ACCESS our information, ADAPT your online habits, and you can PREVENT lots of unnecessary headaches.
